FAQ

1) How do I place an order?
Simply fill in the order form on the products page and I will get back to you as soon as possible with an invoice! If you have enquiries, just drop them at thebodycanvas@gmail.com.

2) What modes of payment do you accept?
I accept local cheques, concealed cash (at your own risk and highly discouraged), iBanking, and ATM bank transfer to my POSB account 547-50639-1. For international buyers, I accept Paypal as well!

3) What currency are the prices in?
All prices are in Singapore dollars, and are not inclusive of additional costs. For international buyers paying through Paypal, the currency is automatically converted when you make payment. To check out the currency conversion rates, go to http://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/

4) What additional costs are there?
Registered mail requires you to pay an additional $3.00 handling fee. For buyers using Paypal, you will be required to pay an additional $1, as Paypal charges $1 for transferring the funds to a local bank account. Also, please let me know if you're using credit/debit card so that I can inform you about the corresponding charges, as Paypal charges a percentage fee for all such transactions. For international shipping, the international shipping charges will apply depending on the weight. I will inform you of the charges once you send your order to me! (:

5) When and how will I receive my purchases after I've made my payment?
After you've made your payment, kindly drop an email to thebodycanvas@gmail.com with your time/date of transfer, transaction reference number, and IB nick (only if you paid by iBanking!). I will verify your payment and post the item within 3 days.

You can choose to have it delivered by normal post or registered mail. Otherwise, you could opt for self-collection, time and place can be negotiated with me. (: I will try my best to suit your needs! For international buyers, there will be international shipping.

Local mail takes approximately 3 working days to process and deliver from the date of posting, while international shipping will vary with the location of the country. For example, shipping to Phillipines will take about 1.5 weeks, shipping to USA will take about 2 weeks.

6) Can I reserve an item?
Of course you can! However, to be fair to everyone, I will only reserve it for a maximum of 3 days. Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.

7) Do you do remakes?
It is possible, depending on whether the materials used are still available, but please note that I will only do a maximum of 3 remakes for each piece! This is so that the pieces can be as exclusive and personalised as possible.

8) Do you do customisations?
Yes! I strongly welcome customisations, so that everyone can own jewelry which truly suits our personal style. Simply drop me an email at thebodycanvas@gmail.com with any requests you have in mind, like what colours, charms, crystals and shape you prefer. I will do my best to make your request as soon as possible! A flat customisation rate of $3 will be charged per design in addition to cost of materials and artisan fee (which varies according to intricacy of piece).

9) Could you please teach me jewelry making?
Feel free to ask me any questions, from where I get my jewelry making materials from, to the techniques I use to create the jewelry. I'll be more than happy to help you out, but please excuse me if I take quite a while to reply sometimes, as my schedule is pretty busy!

10) I would like to give this as a present. Could you help me wrap and package it nicely?
Of course! This service will be offered upon request, and free-of-charge. If you would like a small note attached to it, just let me know, along with what words you want with it, and I will design it specially. For special occasions, like Valentine's or Christmas, I can wrap it up according to the theme for you! (:
